March 21, 2022
The diaries at my blogs have been neglected for ONE WHOLE year! Appalling, but we’re back and going strong.
Reading some really good books this month. The first to mention is Eight at the Lake, Lin Stepp, author. Read more at the pre-release post. An excellent, faith-based and prolific author, Lin has one more book releasing at the same time. I will be reading and reviewing it as well.
I’m a little bit proud of myself. I have the main review already written and ready for publication.
There has been a lot of water over and under the bridge during the past year. Some of the details will probably slip through, but I promise not to bore you with many. Moving forward, much blessed is our story and we’re sticking to it.
March 23, 2022
More windy days of March. Not freezing ‘lion behavior’ for the weather, tho. It’s not bad at all. Sandy and I took another walk down the pasture lane today. I haven’t been able to be outside as much as I should this winter. Doing what I can do. Writing and updating the diaries here and at Bar JD Ghostwriters has been a good part of this day.
Yesterday and today, I wrote the drafts for a review of “Where Treasure Hides”. Johnnie Alexander published this faith-based, historical fiction book in December 2021. The publisher is the Mosaic Collection Books.
I really enjoyed this book and it showed up in the review writing. I wrote some in pencil. I expanded that in WORD. But, last night, it was clearly an ‘elementary school book report.’ I couldn’t make my fingers shut up on the keyboard! Not wicked, but too much information. Almost 1055 words (three pages) were printed and re-written today. I’m happy with it now. Everything is edited in Hemingway editor and waiting for the graphics to be finished so we can post it.
More Lin Stepp
I’m reading another book set for release by author Lin Stepp. Set in a favorite spot at Edisto Island, I’m just getting into it. More about that soon.
